Berghain

About

Berghain is the church of techno — dark, raw, legendary. No photos, no bullshit, just sound, sweat, and sex. It is not a club, it is an experience

The party starts Friday and goes straight through Monday. It’s a marathon of music, mystery, and hedonism. If you get in, surrender to it.

Location

📍Berghain | Panorama Bar

Am Wriezener bhf, 10243 Berlin, Germany

The woman is wearing a two-piece outfit, consisting of a bikini top and bottom, complemented by a leather harness and boots. They are standing in front of large, weathered windows in an industrial-style building.

getting in

No one is guaranteed entry into Berghain. There’s no guest list, and lines can be VERY long. But trust, all the fuss is worth it.

Protips

  1. Dress in black

  2. Arrive in groups 2 or fewer

  3. Know the name of any DJ playing

  4. Look the bouncer in the eyes

If you don’t make it in, head directly to Kater Blau. You won’t be alone. Others will meet you there. Then, give Berghain another shot later in the day.

timing

Berghain is open continuously from Saturday through Monday. If you get in once, you’ll get a wristband that allows unlimited re-entry all weekend.

The best time to go is Sunday morning at dawn — lines are shortest then. Aim to arrive between 5 a.m. and 8 a.m.

If you miss that window, its fine. Just get there!

fAq

  • A raw, immersive experience unlike any club in the world. Concrete walls, pounding bass, erotic energy, and absolute freedom. It is widely believed to be the best club in the world.

    Come open-minded, leave transformed.

  • Sunday morning, between 5–8 a.m., is ideal — the line is shorter, and the energy inside is peak.

Going early means you also have time to try again later if you do not get in initially.

  • There’s no guaranteed way. Wear dark, simple clothing, stay calm, and don’t speak loudly in line.

Vibe matters more than looks or status.

  • Don’t take it personally — it happens to everyone.

Head to Kater Blau or Sisyphos instead. Others from the group will be there too, and you can always try Berghain again later.

  • Black is your best friend. Think minimalist, fetish-inspired, or industrial. Leather, latex, mesh, and harnesses are all fair game.

Avoid logos, loud colors, or trying too hard. Confidence, humility and authenticity are key.

    Dress for expression, not attention.

  • Yes. If you’re admitted, you’ll get a wristband that allows unlimited re-entry throughout the weekend.

  • SERIOUSLY, No illegal substances should be done out in the open. If you get caught you could be banned for life.

Protip: Bathrooms are, apparently, interesting places for private conversations.
